A  native of New York City, Matthia Baptiste, graduated from Brooklyn  Coafdfallege with a B.A. in Art History and Film Production where she was  awarded The Bernard Cole Scholarship and the Jerome Viola Scholarship.    

After discovering her love for the film-making process she currently  works as a Freelance Editor in New York City and has worked on  Documentary and Independent films in England and the U.S.  In May 2011  she earned her Masters in Fine Arts and Film at City College of New  York.
